Geotechnical
Consultants, Inc. (GCI) has an immediate opening for a Geotechnical
Project Engineer. The successful candidate will prepare proposals;
establish the scope and schedule of both field investigations and
laboratory testing programs; prepare engineering analyses including
the use of complex engineering software; assist in the writing of
geotechnical reports; prepare plans, presentations and other communications
with clients and project team members; and monitor with other staff
progress of projects throughout the construction process. A
masters degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in geotechnical
engineering is required. Ability to perform structural design
as it relates to geotechnical structures such as retaining walls,
shallow and deep foundations, and earth support systems is a
